Bodega Bay, CA
It was a 3 hr drive from Mendocino to Bodega Bay. We had a couple stops along the way, not to mention the scenic drive and windy roads were amazing, we took our time and we were totally ok with that. We pulled into our camp site at Bodega RV, all the Rv'ers seems to all be pulling in and setting up camp around the same time or at least one after the other. Two sets of couples who pulled in seemed to know each other and didn't waste any time putting together a pretty loud happy hour that was actually pretty comical as we couldn't deny the excessive laughing, someone was having a good ole’ time! They put up a sign (one of those plastic child signs) right by their camp and I thought oh cool that woman couple must have kids...as I walked closer to the sign it read "slow, adults drinking"! Haha! Unfortunately, there were no kids in sight at this campground, and no bikes or skateboards allowed, what??? Must have been adult only or a swingers RV club! Good thing we departed the next day, seems our luck with campgrounds was getting kinda weird! The upside was we were finally able to do a couple loads of laundry there, pretty good for being on the road for 10 days at this point.
We got up early and departed Bodega and headed into the town of Bodega Bay 15 miles away to see the The Birds Museum and gift shop located at the Tides Inn ( where some other footage from the movie was filmed). We found the old school house about 5 miles away from this location, took some pics while adorning its creepy stature.
