Mendocino,CA- Caspar Beach
We woke up the next morning with a quick cup of coffee for J & I and a waffle for K. We headed out early, as we were so looking forward to Mendocino (one of our favorite coastal towns). We were ready for an RV campground that was legit, no crazies. Caspar Beach. We were here for 3 days and spent the first day catching up on school & work and organizing & cleaning. Living in such a small space I can't believe how dirty everything gets, we clean & vacuum everyday, especially with the cats. The beach was directly across from the camp ground, enjoyed a great sunset and riding the e-bikes on the wet sand, so fun!
Wednesday came and again caught up on school & work. We left around 12pm to Mendocino. About a 20 minute bike ride, some on highway 101 which made me a little nervous, we sandwiched K between us, James leading the way, K in the middle and myself in the back. I made K wear his lime green Seahawks jersey so cars would see him. We made our way to our favorite town an hit up some of our old favorites, including Mendo Burger, which we were sad to see it no longer existed. Mendocino Burger had great burgers and the french fries were huge. When J & I traveled here in 2008 we stubbled upon Mendo Burger, a family owned company, the lady put a russet potato in a metal chamber that was attached to the wall and and cha-ching- potato wedges she through in the bubbling grease, ahh the best. We noticed Mendo has built up since we were since here, as well as prices for everything in this cool artsy town.
